Upgrade of the SPECIES beamline at the MAX IV Laboratory

The SPECIES beamline has been transferred to the new 1.5 GeV storage ring at MAX IV Laboratory. Several improvements have made and its endstations during transfer. Together Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Resonant Inelastic Scattering are capable of conducting photoelectron spectroscopy in elevated pressure regimes with enhanced time-resolution flux scattering experiments improved resolution flux. Both offer a unique capability for low photon energies vacuum ultraviolet soft range. In this paper, upgrades on current performance reported.
